Since the earliest days of Christianity, Pilgrimage has been a way that Christians can connect more deeply with the Bible and with God. It is a way to go and see, touch and smell the stories of our faith. In 2022, Grace took its first of three pilgrimages. Our first pilgrimage was to Israel to trace the steps of the Old and New Testament. In 2024 we will journey in the steps of Paul and in 2026 we will trace the path of the Reformation and Methodism. If you are interested in learning more about Grace's Pilgrimage ministry please email Stephen Ingram.
Join us as we connect with the roots of our faith, experiencing firsthand the places where John and Charles Wesley lived, studied, and began the Methodist movement. This pilgrimage will provide a deeper understanding of Wesleyan theology and practices, such as the Holy Club at Oxford, the “strangely warmed heart” experience in London, and the development of class meetings in Bristol. By walking in their footsteps, we will rekindle our spiritual passion and gain inspiration for contemporary ministry and mission, witnessing the historical context that shaped our denomination’s emphasis on social holiness, spiritual vitality, and outreach. We hope you will join us for this very special, and uniquely Methodist tour.
In 2024 Grace traveled to Egypt, Turkiye, and Greece on our second pilgrimage to the Biblical lands of Egypt and following the missionary journeys of Paul.
